Today, at 7:43 AM ET, Venus entered Aquarius which is the sign of the humanitarian and all things eccentric, weird, strange, and unusual ruled by Uranus! For all of us who enjoy that energy in our lives, let's give it up for Aquarian energy! Uranus is the planet of sudden changes, electricity, electronics, revolution, all the things I mentioned before, and the shocking and taboo. Aquarian energy is not afraid to be different or stick out from the crowd. They definitely march to the beat of their own drummer. For that we should celebrate because how boring would life be without Aquarian energy! We also had a Trine from the Sun in Capricorn to Uranus in Taurus at 11:59 AM ET, so that Uranian/Aquarian energy is going to be extra highlighted for the day. Get weird with it! Do something fun involving a lover and technology! Try an online dating app! You may meet someone new. We do have Mercury (planet of communication and thoughts) conjunct Mars (anger, aggression, drive, ambition, sex drive), however, so keep conversation on the lighter side of things to avoid any arguments as tempers may run high. This could be good for some dirty talk though as this transit goes exact at 2:40 AM ET on Sunday morning, January 18th!

We will then be moving into our next transit on January 18th, 2026, which is the New Moon at 28° Capricorn at 2:52 PM ET. If you have been wanting to make a new start regarding planets sitting around 27°-29° Capricorn or 27°-29° Cancer for awhile now, this is that time! Get on it! This could also apply to anyone with planets at 27°-29° Aries or 27°-29° Libra. There is also going to be a configuration with the majority of the planets and Vesta involved which is VERY harmonious which involves again, 25°-29°, and also, 0°-4°, of the Cardinal signs (listed above), and also the Mutable signs (Gemini, Pisces, Virgo, and Sagittarius), so if you have any planets sitting in those areas of your chart, pay attention to the next portion of the New Moon reading. So, we have Mercury, Mars, Moon, and Sun all conjunct in Capricorn which are all conjunct in a locomotive aspect with a few more of the planets/asteroids that have just moved into Aquarius, the following sign. Those planets are Venus, Pluto and the asteroid, Vesta. ALL OF THESE are making a Trine, which is a harmonious aspect, to Uranus which is sudden happenings, unexpected changes, and out of the blue revelations, which is Sextile Neptune and Saturn, which are both at the tail end of Pisces, and are also Sextile ALL of the planets in Capricorn and Aquarius, which is also very harmonious. So those two planets, Neptune and Saturn together could indicate a higher octave of love (Neptune) and commitment (Saturn), which Venus (planet of love and relationships), Pluto (intensity, passion, possibly obsession) and Vesta (what we are devoted to, sacred sex) along with Mercury (how we communicate), and Mars (sex drive, ambition, drive, energy), Sun (ego/identity), and Moon (emotions. first instincts in a situation, and dreams). So, that's a lot right there and then all of those planets in Capricorn are still opposing Jupiter in Cancer at 18° (growth, expansion, luck, abundance) just amplifying everything that's going on. Now, that's the best case scenario here. It could be that Neptune (lies, deception, illusions, and escapism) and Saturn (restrictions and boundaries) could be what happens which would play off of Venus (love and relationships), Pluto (control, domination, power struggles), Mars (anger and aggression) and Mercury (communication used in conjunction with Mars) and a sudden blow-up with Uranus, and then Jupiter amplifying the situation, but hopefully, with the harmonious aspects displayed here other than the oppositions to Jupiter and it being a New Moon, giving people the impetus to grow and change, it will push people in the direction to go in the first direction causing major new starts in love. Adding to this, Mercury (communication) Trines Uranus (sudden happenings) at 12:38 AM on Monday, January 19th ET, adding to unexpected surprises in communication. Again, this is a good time for online communication or use of technology to communicate about love.

Monday, January 19th, 2026, the Sun moves into Aquarius at 8:45 PM ET and we begin Aquarius season officially! YAY! Again, adding more of that rebellious spirit into the air! We also have Venus (love, relationships, finances) in Aquarius going exactly conjunct with Pluto (passion, control, intensity, domination, BDSM, obsession, power struggles) in Aquarius at 11:04 PM ET. Aquarius is an Air sign that is all about freedom and wanting to have their space and be a humanitarian while keeping their distance at the same time. It wants to be social, while having its freedom to do its own thing. On, Tuesday, January 20th, 2026, Mercury the planet of communication moves into Aquarius, so we are just having a Water Bearer party up in here! Remember, Aquarius is an Air sign even though its symbol is the Water Bearer, like on the Star card of the Tarot. Mercury in Aquarius is known for being incredibly intelligent and thinking outside the box. Last, but not least, we have on Wednesday, January 21st, 2026, Mercury Cazimi! If you all don't remember from my last post about Cazimis, a Cazimi is basically a fancy word for when a planet gets within 40 minutes of the Sun and the rays of the Sun are considered to be burning up the planet. It can be considered both a good and bad thing if you are either a modern or traditional astrologer, it really just depends on how you look at it. The planet will be obscured by the light of the Sun, so I tend to feel that its power is diminished at this time. Until next time, astrology lovers!
