Mars moves into Capricorn/New Moon in Sagittarius/Sagittarius Stellium

This week started off big with Mars (the planet of war, aggression, ambition, drive, sex, passion) moving into Capricorn, the sign known for being strategic, business-oriented and driven to succeed, for the first time since 2023. This will have us all on our A-game regarding work, drive and the need to succeed until January 23, 2026. This is the perfect time to get your business, paperwork, taxes, and anything related to the government, in order. Soon, Venus and the Sun will be joining Mars in Capricorn (Winter Solstice, meaning Sun moving into Capricorn is on Sunday, December 21st, 2025 while Venus enters Capricorn on December 24th, 2025) and finances and money will definitely be something that you will want to be taking care of and getting in order. Maybe speak to a financial advisor. Capricorn is all about business and making that cash, but making sure it is going to be there for the long term and making it secure in some type of retirement plan, savings, or investments. Capricorn is very future-oriented being ruled by Saturn, the planet of time, restrictions, boundaries, and long-term planning. Right now though, Mars is squaring both Neptune (planet of illusions, delusions, escapism, fog, imagination, dreams, and addiction) and Eris (asteroid named after the goddess of discord and strife), so putting that all together, things may not be clear regarding people's thought processes with their drive, anger, aggression, and they may be overturning the apple cart where they shouldn't or where they don't fully see their actions for what the end result may be. There is still a lot of confusion in the air and it could lead to violence if people aren't careful. Mars is also the lead planet in a mini locomotive pattern with a Sagittarius stellium (more than 3 planets in the same sign) following starting with Sun (ego/identity), Juno (our perfect partner/how we are as a partner), Venus (who we love, how we love, and what we love, also any one-on-one relationships with others, doesn't have to be romantic, but could be), Moon (emotions/first instincts in a situation/intuition), and Mercury (how we communicate with others/thoughts/language/how we learn). This could be causing problems with relationships with people because Sun, Juno, and Venus are all squaring Saturn and they desire freedom, independence, things to be ethical and truthful, direct communication almost to the point of tactlessness, and they don't want to be tied down and Saturn likes to control which goes against everything Sagittarius believes in. Sagittarius also rules the belief system and higher ideals. Sun, Juno, and Venus are also squaring Neptune, which again, is heavy with the fog and deception and it makes it hard for people to know what is really true. So, give it some time before coming to any final decisions in regard to the themes of those planets. Although, Neptune is also the higher octave of Venus, so maybe some of you will fall in love and with Neptune conjunct Saturn, maybe it will be a long-term situation. The planets always play out, but not always as you would think. With the Dark Moon conjunct Mercury in Sagittarius, people are certainly speaking their minds in a very blunt and honest way, even if they don't necessarily mean it sometimes. Sagittarius can have no tact at times so watch out for that. When there are so many planets in one sign it can overstimulate people because of the heavy amount of the traits of that sign, especially with a planet or multiple planets in that sign. Try to do something to relax your nerves from all this sort of manic energy. Try using grounding techniques, crafting, talking it out with a friend, physical activity, whatever you have to do to get through it.

The New Moon at 28° Sagittarius is tomorrow at 8:43 PM ET. It will still be squaring Neptune and Saturn, so expect to feel blah and kind of lost or in a fog. Not what everyone wants to hear, but I don't write the planetary rules, I just interpret them and pass them along as the Messenger I was put here to be. If you are doing any type of ritual around the New Moon, be very careful that it is well worded and double check everything to make sure it is extra clear so it doesn't go south. Be very intentional with your words and actions. It will also be in an exact quincunx with Uranus in Taurus (sudden changes, electricity, jolts to the system, revolution). so this just ups the chances of any mishaps if you aren't careful. The fact that the New Moon is in a Fire Sign, please practice fire safety when using fire at all times during this Full Moon and always.
